Water heaters last 8–12 years here. When yours starts going cold, leaking, or banging, we'll tell you straight whether to repair or replace — and whether tankless makes sense for your house. No upsell game.
Tank water heaters we install
- AO Smith, Bradford White, Rheem — 40, 50, and 75 gallon. All three are solid; we won't install Whirlpool builds from the big-box store.
- Permits pulled, T&P relief tested, drip pan installed where required, expansion tank added if your line has a check valve or PRV.
- Same-day install in most cases when we have the unit on the truck.
Tankless water heaters
- Navien NPE-A2 series, Rinnai RU199i — both have parts available same-day in LA when service is needed.
- Gas-line audit first — most older South Bay homes have 1/2" gas to the heater closet; tankless wants 3/4". We'll tell you up front if your line needs an upgrade.
- Direct-vent / sealed combustion through the wall, or upgraded 4" flue to the roof.
- Annual descale recommended — and we offer it as a $180 follow-up so the unit lasts its full 18–22 years.
