Gas line work is a permit-and-pressure-test trade. We pull permits, run black iron or CSST per code, pressure-test the line at 30 PSI for 30 minutes minimum, and provide the city sign-off. No back-yard hookups.
What we install
- Tankless water heater gas lines — usually 3/4" black iron from the meter to the heater. Many South Bay homes need an upsize.
- New gas range / cooktop / dryer hookups — including the appliance shutoff and flex connector.
- Outdoor BBQ and fire pit stubs — buried PE pipe with riser, code-correct shutoff at the appliance.
- Pool heater / patio heater hookups — sized for BTU load.
- Whole-house gas line replacement when the original lines are corroded or undersized for modern appliances.
Smell gas? Do this first
- Don't switch lights on or off. Don't strike a flame.
- Open windows and leave the house.
- Call SoCalGas at 1-800-427-2200 to shut off at the meter.
- After they've made the area safe, call us to find and repair the leak.
