Most plumbing repairs eventually need a trench. We bring our own equipment, pull permits, call USA-DigAlert for utility locates, and restore the surface — concrete, asphalt, hardscape, or sod — when we're done. Driveways go back the way we found them.
What we excavate
- Sewer lateral replacement from the house to the city tap.
- Water service upgrades — 1/2" galvanized to 1" copper or PEX.
- Gas line trenches for new appliances or whole-house upgrades.
- Storm drain and area drain installs.
- Utility locates and tie-ins on new construction.
How we minimize disruption
- Plywood mat over the lawn so we don't track mud.
- Hand-dig within 18" of any utility we know about.
- Clean spoils into a contained pile, not a pile in the driveway.
- Concrete cut with a wet saw to keep dust down.
- Restoration done same week — patch, asphalt, or sod, whichever fits.
